The Logitech QuickCam
The Logitech QuickCam Fusion is a great webcam, with a few quirks
to the design. The lens has a great field of view that is very wide
allowing multiple people to appear on camera without issue. However,
people who do not cam with multiple people in the shot may find that
they look small in the wide area of view, leading to the field of
view being both a pro and a con. Overall, the Logitech QuickCam Fusion
is a great web cam.
Cool avatars like a shark and a talking car will keep your kids entertained.
Head tracking and facial feature tracking works great. 1.3 Megapixel
sensor gives great image quality.
Guide Review - Logitech QuickCam Fusion The Logitech
QuickCam Fusion has a laundry list of features. One of the most important
features is the RightLight technology. RightLight automatically improves
the lighting in your images that are shot in low light situations.
The Logitech QuickCam Fusion also has a true 1.3 megapixel sensor
to capture more accurate details and give you better video quality.
Logitech also included a built in microphone on the Fusion.
The Logitech QuickCam Fusion also integrates Right Sound into the
microphone to cancel echoes in the audio when not using a headset.
The software included with the QuickCam Fusion gives you some cool
video effects such as avatars that mimic your facial expressions and
your head position.
The Logitech QuickCam Fusion connects easily to your system via a
USB 2.0 connection. The lens of the QuickCam Fusion is an ultra-wide
field of view which is great for multiple users in the shot, but can
be a bit of an issue with single cam users.
Logitech QuickCam Fusion in Use
The Logitech Quick Cam Fusion is very easy to use and install. The
audio and video synched with no issues with my computer.
The image quality with the QuickCam Fusion is very good, and the RightLight
technology improves video quality noticeably in low light conditions.
The Right Sound technology works well for filtering echoes from your
end, but does nothing for echoes from the other cam users. The avatars
are interesting, but definitely most appealing to children.
